The Mothersell award is an award presented annually to a NRFL member area that best exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship, fair play and commitment to youth displayed by Dennis Mothersell. Dennis Mothersell was a Field Director of the Sparta Rocket Football program who passed away suddenly at the age of 40.
Rockford is the 1st 3 time winner of the award. This is a great honor for the program and it speaks volumes about the quality individuals involved in it.
